We are hiring a full-time Outside Bobcat Sales Representative for our Sales Department.
As the Outside Bobcat Sales Representative, you are responsible for full cycle sales which includes:
- Maintaining current relationships and expanding Rentco’s Bobcat prospect database by creating sales leads (including using ecommerce) and initiating prospect calls
- Working with customers to determine their requirements and assist them with the purchase of products with focus on heavy equipment
- Emphasizing product/service features and benefits, quoting prices, discussing credit terms, and preparing sales order forms and/or reports
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Bobcat and other sales lines
- Conducting product demonstrations for prospects
- Completing financing paperwork
- Closing sales deals includes the delivery of equipment to the customer’s site
- Following Rentco/Bobcat of the Peace's policies and procedures which includes safety rules and expense reporting
- 2 years of demonstrated full-cycle sales experience and previous experience with and knowledge of heavy equipment
- Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and an ability to pull a fifth wheel trailer
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
- Ability to always work ethically and with integrity and passion
- Ability to work on a Saturday rotation from 8am to 12pm
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend trade shows, when required
- A combination of working in office and traveling to client locations while hauling a trailer within assigned territory
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors while wearing required PPE
